Overview
I partnered with imre as a freelance UX/UI designer to assist in updating various Bavencio websites designs. The goal was to create a responsive, accessible experience that served healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers with clear pathways and updated treatment resources. The final design improved navigation, mobile usability, and overall clarity while aligning with strict healthcare compliance standards.

The problem
The Bavencio website was not meeting the needs of its core audiences: healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers. The client asked for a redesign that would improve accessibility, responsiveness, and clarity while staying compliant with healthcare communication standards.

Business Challenges
  • 1
    Navigation Issues
Navigation was difficult, making it hard to find treatment resources.
  • 2
    Poor Optimization
The site design was not fully optimized for mobile or tablet users.
  • 3
    Content Update
Content updates from the client had not been consistently applied, leading to gaps and outdated information.
The Approach
Reduce Friction Through Iteration
My role was to translate client and stakeholder feedback into a user-focused digital experience. I delivered designs iteratively, using client feedback cycles to refine navigation, layout, and content presentation. I worked closely with the imre team to:
  • Audit
Audit existing site flows and identify friction points.
  • Update
Update content structures so users could quickly determine if Bavencio was a treatment option worth discussing with their healthcare provider.
  • Create
Create responsive wireframes and high-fidelity mockups in line with brand guidelines.

Jumping Into an Ongoing Project
In an agency, evolution and change happens quick. So upon joining this project I immediately needed to get to work on revising existing mockups from Adobe XD into figma as well as addressing our client feedback provided iterative updates that get pushed to a routing system.
How it started?
It started with a file needed to be imported and rebuilt so feedback could be addressed. Patterns needed to be established and components rebuilt.
XD File
Zoomed-out view of multiple Adobe XD design layout screens for desktop and mobile, showing detailed UI elements and text content.
The Process
In order to address tight timelines and rebuilding a file from stratch we created reusable, scalable, and responsive components as well as address feedback over the course of a month and a half.

With my eagerness to leverage Figma for a project, I took upon the component aspect first. I leveraged any design sytem methologies as best as possible given the constraints to provide our design team assets they needed to iterate quickly.

As a result:
1. Teamwork improved drastically as repeat work was reduced
2. Improvements were made faster and more accurately
3. Bavencio website was more consistent across mobile through web user experience
